Transitional Beige Subway Kitchen Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

This kitchen highlights a sophisticated combination of surfaces, featuring a backsplash of ceramic subway tiles in glossy beige, arranged in a stacked layout. The backsplash tiles are small format, approximately 3x6 inches, with clean straight edges and thin matching beige grout lines for a seamless look. The kitchen floor consists of rich brown hardwood planks, cut in medium-sized strips with a satin finish, laid in a running bond pattern. The overall style is transitional, blending classic and modern details with smooth, refined surfaces for both tile and wood.

Boasting an inviting atmosphere with a perfect fusion of warmth and elegance, the Pacific Heights Kitchen project by City Studios in San Francisco, CA, captures the essence of transitional design. The glossy ceramic backsplash tiles offer a subtle, neutral tone that beautifully contrasts with the warmth and depth of the hardwood flooring. Together, these material choices establish a harmonious backdrop that is both practical and timeless for a modern kitchen setting.
