About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
This distinctive bathroom shower features a mix of surfaces and materials: the curving accent wall is dressed in glossy blue glass mosaic tiles (mosaic sized ~1x1 inch squares) that deliver a vibrant, reflective finish. The shower walls are clad in mosaic natural stone in beige, taupe, and gray hues, offering a stacked-square pattern with a lightly tumbled, honed texture for a soft, organic stone look. The shower floor employs natural stone pebble mosaics in a blend of beige and taupe, creating a unique, tactile surface with wide taupe grout lines. This combination evokes a refined coastal aesthetic, punctuated by soothing blues and warm earth tones.
Marin County Beach Residence, created by Carreiro Builders in Santa Rosa, CA, showcases this innovative and contemporary approach to bathroom design. The use of both natural stone and glass mosaic delivers a relaxing beach-inspired vibe, balancing elegant textures with stunning color. Perfect for homeowners seeking a modern oasis with a luxurious coastal spirit, this installation is a true statement piece that defines the residential spa experience.
