Modern Blue Accent Shower Wall Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

This shower features two main tile types across visually distinct surfaces. The primary shower walls utilize large format 12x24 inch beige porcelain tiles, finished in a matte sheen for a clean, contemporary look with subtle stone-inspired veining. These large tiles have precise rectified edges and a stacked pattern installation for linear visual consistency. Contrasting boldly, the accent wall and built-in niche use small 3x12 inch glossy ceramic tiles in a rich blue shade, set in a stacked layout. These tiles feature smooth surfaces and straight edges, with medium-width contrasting gray grout lines that punctuate the layout. The integration of matching beige grout on the shower walls ensures seamlessness and highlights the natural stone look of the main field tiles.

The overall design of this shower space, as part of the Kensington Ave, Sunnyvale project executed by Baron Construction and Remodeling in Saratoga & Los Angeles, CA, delivers a spa-like ambiance with vibrant accent color balanced by soft earth tones. This pairing of modern matte porcelain and striking blue ceramic, coupled with practical technical choices in size and finish, creates a visually stimulating yet highly functional shower environment perfectly suited for contemporary interiors.
