About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The fireplace and accent wall in this living room are clad in large format slate tiles featuring a rich gray hue with subtle natural veining. The slate is finished with a honed surface for a soft, matte touch, creating a sophisticated yet approachable look. Both the fireplace and the surrounding accent wall use straight edge, rectangular tiles sized approximately 24x48, laid in a stacked pattern for seamless continuity. Matching thin gray grout visually blends the joints, further enhancing the modern edge of the installation. The slightly textured surface adds depth and accentuates the stone look, making it an ideal choice for focal point applications.
