About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The bathroom showcases a sophisticated selection of honed marble tiles in subtle gray tones. The floor features medium-sized (approx. 12x12) square marble tiles with straight edges, laid in a stacked pattern for a clean, contemporary finish. The lower wall zones continue the modern aesthetic with matching honed marble in rectangular formats (approx. 12x24), also installed in a stacked arrangement. Both surfaces reveal a slightly textured stone look, balancing refinement and tactile appeal. The grout lines are thin and carefully matched in gray to ensure a seamless appearance that highlights the tile's natural veining without visual disruption.
This modern, minimalist retreat exemplifies the design philosophy of Kimball Modern Design + Interiors, crafted specifically for Project Brick House in Boulder, CO. The palette of soft gray marble unites practicality with elegance, delivering a serene, spa-like experience. The interplay of honed finishes and straight edges elevates the sense of luxury, appealing to those seeking both calm and timeless style in their bathroom renovation or new build.
