About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The bathroom features three distinct tile applications. The main floor showcases medium-sized decorative ceramic tiles in an intricate multicolor geometric pattern dominated by blue, red, and beige. The shower floor uses small-format brown penny round porcelain tiles offering a mosaic effect and subtle slip resistance. The shower walls are clad in matte-finish beige ceramic hexagon tiles, stacked for a clean, contemporary surface with visually soft grout lines. All tiles have straight edges for a refined installation, with the main floor and shower floor featuring contrasting grout for emphasis, while the shower wall grout remains close in tone for cohesion.
This bold yet harmonious bathroom, realized in the Berkeley Classic Inspiration project by Atelier Interior Design, Denver, CO, unites classic Mediterranean patterns with modern tile shapes for a vibrant, timeless look. The artistic floor tile design draws the eye and energizes the room, while the warm beige hexagonal shower walls and richly textured penny round shower floor balance tradition with fresh, purposeful style.
