Transitional Marble Hexagon Bath Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

This bathroom features a sophisticated combination of marble surfaces in multiple zones. The main floor and shower floor use honed marble hexagon mosaic tiles in a palette of white, gray, and subtle beige tones, providing natural variation and depth. The shower walls are clad in medium-sized rectangular marble tiles, arranged in a stacked pattern with smooth, honed finishes and an elegant white and gray veining. All edges are precisely cut for a clean, modern junction, and grout is gray and medium width for the floor, blending with the marble's veining, while the shower walls use thin, matching white grout for a seamless appearance.

Bringing a light, airy, and timeless aesthetic, this Transitional, Coastal style update for the Summer on the Sound - Baths project by C. Kramer Interiors in Stonington, CT, showcases the welcoming elegance of marble. The intricate hexagon mosaic floors enhance grip and visual interest, while the sleek, stacked marble walls define the shower with both luxury and approachability. The harmonious pairing of natural stone colors and shapes evokes a fresh shoreline feel, perfectly suited to the local New England setting.
