About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
This sophisticated modern bathroom utilizes large format marble tiles across the floor, walls, shower walls, and countertops. The primary material is high-quality white marble with gray veining. Surfaces are finished in a polished sheen that enhances brightness and luxury. The large rectangular tile formats (primarily 24x24 and 24x48 sizes) lend a sense of spaciousness, while straight edges and a stacked layout provide clean, elegant lines throughout. The shower enclosure uses the same polished marble, creating a seamless flow from floor to wall, and the custom marble vanity countertop ties in perfectly. Grout lines are thin and matching in white for a nearly continuous marble effect.
Celebrating refined elegance, this space—featured in the 2017 ARDA Best In Show project by the American Institute of Building Design in Washington, DC—delivers a masterful blend of modern luxury style and functional comfort. Abundant natural light, paired with reflective marble surfaces, achieves a timeless ambiance and showcases the exceptional craft and material selection tailored for sophisticated residential design.
