Coastal White Subway Kitchen Backsplash Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

The kitchen showcases a dual tile scheme: the backsplash uses glossy white ceramic tiles in a classic subway format (about 3x6”), arranged in a clean stacked pattern with straight edges and thin contrasting gray grout. The floor features large format porcelain tiles (approximately 12x24”), in a soft beige color, rectified for a seamless look, laid in a stacked arrangement. The matte finish on the floor tiles subtly mimics stone, providing durable elegance, while the backsplash tiles offer a bright, reflective surface that enhances natural light in the space.

Inspired by a coastal chic aesthetic, this kitchen by Laura Fox Interior Design, LLC, in Kensington, MD, transforms everyday function with serene sophistication anchored by #projectcoastalchic.
