About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The Mallard Island Renovation bath features premium marble tiles across major zones. The main bathroom floor is installed with large format, polished marble rectangles in a white and soft gray palette, creating an elegant foundation. The walk-in shower walls use honed marble rectangle tiles (approx. 4x12"), laid in a running bond pattern, emphasizing a clean, modern linear aesthetic. The shower floor features a honed marble mosaic (approx. 2x2"), providing improved slip resistance and visual contrast. All tile edges are straight, ensuring seamless transitions, with thin gray contrasting grout lines throughout for crisp, unified details. Surfaces vary by zone: smooth and polished underfoot, and subtly textured in the mosaic for safety.
This inviting transitional bathroom blends classic marble luxury with modern simplicity, perfect for contemporary living. Part of the Mallard Island Renovation, designed by Becker Morgan Group, Inc. in Salisbury, MD, this space perfectly balances sophistication and fresh comfort, utilizing refined tile choices for lasting style and durability.
