About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The kitchen features a refined blend of white ceramic subway tiles in a classic running bond pattern for the backsplash and small-scale white chevron ceramic tiles on the adjacent wall surfaces and vent hood surround. The backsplash tiles are medium-sized (approximately 3x12 inches) with a smooth, glossy finish, straight edges, and thin, gray contrasting grout lines. The chevron-patterned wall tiles are smaller (about 2x8 inches), with a slightly textured, matte surface and straight edges, utilizing thin gray grout that subtly emphasizes the modern geometric pattern and adds visual depth to the vertical zones.
Offering a soft, romantic atmosphere for culinary spaces, this design celebrates the delicate interplay of contemporary and transitional styles. The Soft and Romantic project, crafted by Treefrog Design in Sturbridge, MA, brings together a fresh and airy kitchen environment that balances warmth with refined geometry. White hues, chevron accents, and sleek ceramics create a sense of elevated simplicity, making the space feel inviting and timeless for everyday living and entertaining.
