Modern White Subway Bath Shower Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

This shower alcove features classic white ceramic subway tiles with a matte finish installed in a running bond pattern across the shower walls and ceiling. The recessed shower niche presents a contrasting glass mosaic in a mix of blue and white hues, arranged in a stacked mosaic pattern for subtle visual texture. The ceramic wall and ceiling tiles are sized at approximately 3x12 inches and cut with straight edges, while the accent mosaic niche tiles are 1x1 inch squares. Tile grout is a thin gray contrast, finely outlining the crisp, minimalist transitions between tile surfaces.

Blending a modern minimalist approach, this installation highlights the serene effect of white ceramic with the playful pop of a mosaic glass accent niche. The look captures a sense of spacious brightness and thoughtful detail, framing the bathing and showering space in a clean aesthetic. Featured within the Allendale NJ House project and professionally showcased by Amanda Kirkpatrick Photography, this Brooklyn, NY-based design brings together functionality and refined visual appeal in a contemporary bathroom setting.
