About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
This bathroom features two distinct tile zones: the floor is set with small format blue porcelain tiles in a classic square shape, while the walls—including the shower and accent wall—are adorned with ceramic fan-shaped tiles in a gradient of white up top and blue below. All tiles are finished in a smooth matte surface, and edgework is consistently straight. Grout is medium and white on the floor, thin and light gray on the vertical surfaces, creating a subtle outline that accentuates each tile’s elegant form.
The design of Modern Blue & White Fan Tile Bathroom, commissioned by Barker Associates Architecture Office in Brooklyn, NY, showcases a fresh, contemporary approach to bath interiors. Eye-catching fan-shaped ceramic wall tiles form a dynamic accent above and around the shower enclosure, elegantly paired with soft blue porcelain floor tiles for a cohesive modern style. The interplay of blue and white, combined with gold fixtures and refined grout work, creates a serene yet vibrant space that is both visually stunning and highly functional.
