About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The shower walls are clad in honed marble tiles, cut in a small 3x6 inch rectangle, laid in a classic running bond pattern. The color palette for the wall tiles combines soft whites and grays, with straight edges and a smooth marble look. Shower floor tiles utilize honed marble in a mosaic of 1x1 inch hexagons, featuring matching tones of white and gray with a slightly textured surface for slip resistance. Grout for the shower walls is a contrasting medium white, whereas the shower floor uses a thin, matching white grout to unify the hexagon mosaics.
This refined combination of marble wall and mosaic floor tiles delivers an enduring and luxurious ambiance, as showcased in the Classic and Bright Master Bath project. Executed by Brakefield Design Collective in Manhattan, NY, the design emphasizes timeless elegance and transitional style in a high-end urban bath retreat, balancing sophistication with durability for daily comfort and lasting appeal.
