Contemporary White Subway Shower Wall Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

This bathroom features classic white ceramic subway tiles set in a running bond pattern for the primary shower wall, paired with glossy green glass mosaic accents for a pop of color and modern flair. The shower floor is covered with small, matte porcelain square tiles, offering durable slip-resistance. A built-in bench is topped with polished granite in mixed gray and white tones, creating a functional and elegant seating area. Tile edges on the wall are beveled for dimension, while both the shower floor and bench use clean straight edges. Thin, contrasting gray grout highlights the wall tile shape, while matching white grout maintains a seamless base look on the floor.

Combining contemporary and transitional influences, this design for the Custom Addition and Remodel project by Stone Hammer Homes in Syracuse, NY, balances bright neutrals and vibrant mosaic detail for a refreshing, welcoming space.
