About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The shower features large format hexagon porcelain tiles on the walls in a glossy gray finish, arranged vertically in a stacked pattern. These tiles create a sleek modern accent that defines the spacious shower area. For the shower floor, a classic white marble mosaic is used with a subtle honed finish and a slightly structured stone look, adding traction and understated elegance. Both zones are finished with straight edges and thin, contrasting grout lines—white for wall tiles, gray for floor mosaics—ensuring definition and clean separation between surfaces.
Bringing a fresh, contemporary vibe to the heart of the bathroom, this tile selection seamlessly combines modern style and classic materiality. The 407 Hunter project by Pike Properties in Charlotte, NC, showcases how a monochromatic gray palette and geometric forms elevate a daily routine into an indulgent living experience. The harmonious contrast of glossy porcelain hexagons against the soft, honed marble mosaic on the floor underlines the refined sophistication of this inviting, spa-like shower space.
