About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
This bathroom and shower showcase a vibrant combination of glass and ceramic tiles. Most of the shower wall surface is clad in glossy 1x1 glass mosaic tiles in a blend of blue, white, and gray hues, adding dynamic light and coastal character. The lower section features satin-finish ceramic subway tiles in a clean white tone, arranged in a stacked pattern. The main accent wall is defined by the same glass mosaic, with a unique framed insert of oceanic shells, reinforcing the coastal theme. All tile edges are straight, and thin white contrasting grout lines accentuate each tile's outline for crispness and easy maintenance.
Capturing a true beachside aesthetic, the Creekside Casual project by Big Sky Design in Wilmington, NC, offers a fresh, modern approach to bathroom design. The interplay of cool blues and crisp whites, paired with the reflective quality of glass, creates a tranquil space that exudes relaxation and contemporary coastal charm—the perfect fit for anyone seeking an inviting bathroom retreat.
