About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The shower floor features marble hexagon mosaic tiles in a dynamic mix of white and gray tones with a honed finish, providing both slip resistance and a luxurious appearance. The surrounding shower and bathroom walls use medium-format ceramic tiles in a clean white hue, with the shower wall incorporating a horizontal gray accent band of the same ceramic material. All wall tiles have a matte finish and rectified edges for crisp installation, while the hexagon floor tiles display a slightly textured, marble look with narrow, contrasting gray grout. The overall pattern on the walls is a stacked layout, visually elongating the space.
Blending marble mosaics with crisp ceramics, this inviting walk-in shower artfully balances modern elegance and practical design. As part of the Joyful Home in Mount Pleasant project, CHD Interiors in Murrells Inlet, SC, achieves a refreshing transitional look with contemporary details. The harmonious interplay between the hexagon floor mosaic and streamlined wall tiles creates a spa-like sanctuary, perfectly suited to the Lowcountry lifestyle.
