About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
This bathroom features a striking combination of luxury tile materials. The accent wall behind the soaking tub is composed of a shimmering glass mosaic in 1x1 format, forming a floral geometric pattern with vibrant green, white, and gray hues. The walls around the room showcase stacked, rectangular natural stone tiles in matte beige and gray tones, adding depth and texture. Floor surfaces incorporate both small pebble-shaped tumbled natural stone mosaics and honed medium-sized stone tiles in elegant beige and taupe, blending organically into the space.
Designed as part of the Ashton Woods Austin Vistancia project, this space by New Edge Design Studio in Austin, TX demonstrates a sophisticated balance of tactile luxury and visual artistry. The carefully coordinated tile selections create a serene, spa-inspired retreat with modern and contemporary style influences. The interplay of glass mosaic with natural stone offers both a statement focal point and enduring, high-performance surfaces perfect for a tranquil bathroom oasis.
