About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The floor is clad in gray, wood look porcelain plank tile (6x36, matte, rectified edge) presented in a running bond pattern. The shower floor features classic white honed marble penny round mosaics (1x1, tumbled edge, arranged in a mosaic/hexagon layout). Shower walls utilize glossy white ceramic subway tile (4x12, straight edge, laid in a stacked pattern), complemented by painted drywall elsewhere. Grout colors are contrasting charcoal for the floor, light gray for the shower floor, and matching white for shower walls, with all grout lines kept thin for a clean look. Textures are slightly structured for the floor (mimicking wood), and smooth for both the shower floor and walls.
This airy, modern master bathroom project—Gig Harbor Airy Master Bath by Candace Nordquist Interiors—showcases transitional style through the blending of gray wood-look porcelain and crisp white marble and ceramic tilework. Designed in Gig Harbor, WA, the space invites relaxation through its harmonious palette, refined textures, and high-quality finishes, making it a standout in contemporary bath design.
