Modern Beige Vertical Accent Shower Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

The primary bathroom and shower space features medium-format porcelain floor tiles in a warm brown tone, arranged in a stacked pattern for a clean, modern feel. The shower walls combine large-format rectified porcelain tiles with a marble look in beige and gray, complemented by vertical strips of glossy glass mosaic tiles in mixed neutrals for a striking accent. The shower floor is finished with small square porcelain mosaics matching the natural stone aesthetic, offering slip resistance and practical drainage. The grout is medium and gray on the main floor, thin and beige matching the shower wall, and thin and gray for the shower mosaic floor. Finishes are a mix of matte for porcelain surfaces and glossy for glass accents, with slightly structured stone look texture underfoot and smooth tile facings on the walls.

This contemporary, spa-like shower was designed as part of The Joneses project by Angela Wells Interior Design in Palm Desert, CA. The blend of natural tones and tactile finishes creates a luxurious and tranquil escape, with the vertical glass mosaic accents providing a dramatic yet refined stylistic focal point. The overall effect is one of fresh, modern sophistication, perfectly in tune with today's interior design sensibilities and the sun-kissed atmosphere of southern California.
