About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The shower walls feature glossy white ceramic subway tiles in a classic running bond pattern, sized approximately 3x12 inches with straight edges and a smooth finish. The shower floor and adjacent bathroom floor use small white porcelain hexagon mosaic tiles, both with a matte finish and slightly textured surface for improved slip resistance. Charcoal medium-width grout lines create sharp contrast throughout both the shower and the bathroom floor, emphasizing the geometric patterns and bright white tiles.
The Enfield Way Basement project showcases a modern yet transitional aesthetic enhanced by expertly chosen tilework. Carla Bast Design, based in Lakeville, MN, has created a fresh, inviting bathroom space using timeless material combinations of ceramic subway and porcelain hexagon mosaics. The clean, bright look and contrasting grout accentuate the architectural lines, adding a sense of refinement and crisp simplicity. This look is ideal for homeowners seeking a blend of classic and contemporary in a hardwearing, elegant bathroom setting.
