About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
The primary shower wall features large format porcelain tiles in a neutral beige shade, set in a rectangular shape with a smooth, matte finish and straight edges for a clean, seamless look. For the niche accent wall, natural stone is used in an irregular pebble mosaic pattern, with a matte finish and a tactile textured surface. The porcelain wall tiles are sized approximately 12x24 inches, while the pebble mosaic features 1-2 inch stones. Matching beige grout with medium width integrates the main wall, while the accent mosaic utilizes thin, contrasting gray grout to emphasize the organic stone shapes.
The Wilds Overlook Basement project by Carla Bast Design in Lakeville, MN showcases a sophisticated, modern shower environment. The soothing beige porcelain walls provide a warm, contemporary canvas, while the natural stone pebble mosaic niche introduces visual interest and organic texture. This combination creates a calming yet dynamic atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a blend of durability, low maintenance, and spa-like luxury in a residential bathroom setting.
