Contemporary Charcoal Porcelain Bath Floor Tile

Material & Feature Breakdown

This bathroom showcases a modern blend of tile materials and finishes across several surfaces. The main floor features large-format charcoal porcelain tiles (12x24 inches) with a matte, slightly structured stone look, laid in a running bond pattern with thin, contrasting gray grout. In the walk-in shower, the shower floor is finished with small-format matte porcelain tiles in gray, also with thin matching grout. The shower walls combine large-format white glossy ceramic rectangles with a dramatic horizontal band of multi-toned glass mosaic accent tiles in stacked layout. Backsplash zones behind the vanities are composed of taupe glass rectangles in a consistent stacked pattern and glossy finish. Most edges are clean and rectified for a crisp, contemporary alignment throughout.

Delivering a striking, upscale feel with a balanced mix of matte charcoal and glossy glass, this space won recognition in the 2016 CotY Award Winners. As completed by NARI of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN, this bathroom’s sleek floor and shower tile selections add depth, contrast, and modern character for a truly award-worthy transformation.
