About This Project
Material & Feature Breakdown
This bathroom highlights a blend of high-performance materials: the main floor features charcoal-hued, matte finish porcelain tiles in a large format rectangle (12x24). The primary bath and shower walls are finished with classic white ceramic subway tiles (3x6) in a glossy finish, installed in a running bond pattern. Above the vanity and window, a rich brown ceramic tile accent wall (2x8 rectangles) presents a stacked pattern, also finished in glossy. All edges are cleanly rectified or straight. Floor grout closely matches the charcoal tile, while the walls use a thin, gray contrasting grout; accent walls blend thin brown grout for cohesion. Floor exhibits a slightly structured concrete look; vertical surfaces offer a polished, smooth finish for shimmer and cleanliness.
Embodying modern transitional style, this 2018 CotY Award Winners bathroom by NARI of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN achieves both warmth and refreshing clarity. The seamless use of porcelain and ceramic tile creates depth, durability, and a timeless vibe—making the space equally inviting and visually striking.
